Brother in arms

Watching a few episodes of Band of Brothers made me want to play the first Call of Duty game again for the first time... It was awesome back then.

In anticipation of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's installation finishing, I doodled this. I was pretty excited, untill Steam was installed and wanted to download the whole game again. Bye bye excitement, hello rage!

After calming myself, going to church and spending some time with google I found a workaround.

Awesome! The adventure begins.

Unfortunately this never happened. I've had so much trouble keeping my bike running this picture started creeping into my dreams. Every morning I would wake up realizing it was only a blissful dream.

The dream is still alive... Who knows... maybe one day.

Look Mr Frodo, it's an oliphant

I drew this as a project for someone helping me to further my skills by taking more time in what I do.
Where I would normally finish a drawing in one sitting in around an hour or so, this took me about 4 sittings of 2 hours each...

Annemarie's 21st

Today is Annemarie's 21st birthday.
As I am a bit strapped on cash I decided to draw her a picture for her birthday. Tacky I know!

This is her. Too bad I can't draw as beautiful as she is. (that line will work someday)

It's the dream

I've notices that my last few posts all had characters with weapons in. Strangely all aiming to the right... What does that mean??

Anyway - I decided to draw something... less violent for this post.

This picture depicts my friend Martin as Ryze from League of Legends - a game of which Martin and myself are both huge fans of. The cockatoo is Keira, Martin and his wife's pet - always there to interrupt a game of League of Legends with a nibble on your ear.

I am not particularly a fan of polar bears, but I am a fan of sleeping. This picture is dedicated to a friend who is a fan of polar bears, cats, puppies, and all other cute things ladies are usually fans of.

Last Sunday at church the sermon handled on what we do with our God-given talents. This made me think about what I am doing with what God has given me. I have made a decision to train the talent I have in art - whether it be sketching, sculpting or digital.
I have challenged myself to post at least once a week on this blog with a new creation. This week I am reading through Job, and was inspired by the thought that God is with us through all our bad times, and that no matter what the enemy puts on our path, in God we are victorious.
